Interesting that a site related to the medical field doesn't provide any contact information and their privacy policy and terms and conditions aren't updated.
Interesting catch...
it also doesn't say where they provide service and the site is hosted on Squarespace (they haven't bothered to remove the waterprint at the bottom of the page). Either they're not ready for public eyes (no pun intended) or this is fake. :) That said, I would use this as a consumer, although turning this into a business will be tough. This is such an infrequent activity and geographical expansion will be a hurdle.
Hey hey hey... Can't hate on them for Squarespace ;) I actually found out about these guys via a FB ad. Maybe they were just testing the waters to see what kind of response they would get. There are a few unanswered questions right now though.
nothing against Squarespace -- I've used them multiple times -- but they didn't take a second to remove the Squarespace promo text in the footer, which shows this isn't ready or they're negligent.
I thought phone screens are not good for your eyes! I guess the only way to figure it out is to book an appointment
I saw EyeNetra's tech at the MIT 100K a couple years ago. The stuff is sound and really fascinating for many more use cases than just visual acuity. Glad to see people are making progress here. the T&C and privacy policy is most likely just an oversight. I can contact the founders if you want.
Hi Ryan, that would be great. :)
what's your email? I can cc you on the note. He'll probably want commenting privileges.
Looks like their site is now down or "password protected". Did anyone figure out if this was fake or not?
This appears to be a revolutionary product, and service, packed into one nifty company
