Blank - A smoother way to fill and sign PDF forms on your Mac
by•
Filling out a PDF should be a small task. Blank focuses on the little frustrations: nudging text into place, retyping details, and fields that don't behave as expected. Fill and sign on your Mac with saved details, reusable signatures, and local drafts. We're continually refining field detection, text placement, and the steps from opening a form to sending it back. Try all features on three documents, with no watermark or account. One-time purchase. macOS 26+.

Hi Product Hunt, I’m Joshua, the maker of Blank.
Filling out a PDF should be a small task. Too often, it turns into nudging text into place, retyping the same details, and working around fields that don’t behave as expected.
I’m building Blank to make that whole experience smoother on the Mac. I’m continually refining field detection, text placement, and the little interactions between opening a form and sending it back.
Here’s how Blank helps today:
• Reuse saved details instead of typing the same information into every form.
• Find likely fields in scanned forms, review them, and add text or checkmarks wherever you need them.
• Draw, type, or import a signature and save it for next time.
• Pick up where you left off with local drafts, then export a separate PDF with editable fields or flattened answers. Your original stays untouched.
I’m working on new annotation and reading features, along with more PDF tools. These are still in development and haven’t been released yet. I’m also exploring a web version, better ways to collaborate on PDFs, and requesting signatures from others, including sending requests in batches. The goal is the same: make everyday PDF work feel smoother.
In the current Mac app, your documents, saved details, and reusable signatures stay on your Mac.
You can try all features on three documents with no watermark, payment card, or Blank account. For the Product Hunt launch, Blank Pro is $19.99 USD once, before tax, with code BLANKPH. The offer expires November 15, 2026 and includes two Macs and all 1.x updates.
Open the Product Hunt checkout, choose “Apply discount code,” enter BLANKPH, and click “Validate” to see the $19.99 price before paying.
It requires macOS 26 or later. Paid use needs internet for activation and periodic license checks, with up to 30 days offline after a successful check.
I’d love to hear about the small quirks that make PDF forms frustrating for you: a field that’s awkward to fill, text that’s hard to place, or a step that takes more effort than it should. That feedback helps me decide what to improve next. Thanks for taking a look!
