Hey there! Robert here, cofounder @Blackbox. We're super excited to launch to the PH community! We released our chrome extension to the public at the end of October and now we have more than 200,000 active users. It's been a roller coaster every day since then 🤘 To give you a bit of background, we're 3 brothers cofounders, all engineers & started using the extension to copy code from coding videos and from presentations from Zoom/Meet/Teams meetings and then from images. Since this was such a time saver for us, we figured it must be for others too 🤙 So BLACKBOX is the Fastest Way to Copy Text from Videos, Images, PDF, and much more... @blackbox @bogomep @formentera Yes sir! You can copy text from anywhere in your browser. Could be a video, image, pdf, literally anything. Personally I use it a lot on videos, from youtube or any streaming platform. Even video recordings on Drive or on the cloud :)

Very cool! Congrats on the launch! ^_^ I found this tool very useful, and it can definitely save time.. Just curious - do you have, or are you planning to have other extensions except Chrome as well? :))

@brent_haldiman1 Love the feedback Brent! My favorite one is grabbing code from coding tutorials and during internal code reviews. Especially because we designed the extension to preserve indentation :) Makes things super easy and simple :) What is your favorite use case?

@grberk Great question! We're releasing new features next week where you have the option to get all your text copied saved in your account. It's like having all your important code snippets or important text on Notion. Makes sense?

This is fantastic. Always struggling with copying and pasting text from images, for instance. What happens when it comes to websites that have specifically wanted people to not copy their work because of plagiarism or piracy? Websites such as Perlego allow e-book readers to highlight and read text but to avoid people stealing the work, they've disabled the ability for readers to copy and paste the text. Does this app somehow work around those issues?
