Why I built a language tutor inside Telegram (not a separate app)

When I started building Behappy Speak, the obvious path was a standalone app. But I kept coming back to one problem: the hardest part of language learning isn't the tool — it's actually showing up to practice. Every extra step (download, signup, "where did I put that app") is a reason to skip a session.

Telegram solves that. It's already open on your phone all day. No install, no friction. You just start talking — real scenarios like job interviews or travel, or free conversation on any topic. The bot corrects your mistakes and brings them back later via spaced repetition so they actually stick.

It also has persistent memory, so every session continues where you left off instead of starting from zero.

Currently English and German, more languages coming.
