Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Tomer, the maker of Beaches of Greece. I built it because I noticed that all my friends visiting Greece had a rough time planning a beach day. The popular beaches are all over Instagram, but they're crowded and not necessarily what you actually want. The useful stuff, like whether the water is calm, if there is any shade, whether you can park, sand or pebbles, how packed it gets in August, is scattered across blogs, forums, and old TripAdvisor threads. So I catalogued hundreds of beaches across Greece and scored each one on the things that actually decide your day: water and wave conditions, how crowded it gets, parking, sand or pebbles, Blue Flag status, and amenities like tavernas and snorkeling. Then I put a natural-language search on top, so you can just type what you want, like "calm sandy beach near Naxos with a taverna", and get real matches with photos and maps. The guiding principle is honesty. If a beach has no shade or is hard to reach, it says so. I would rather you trust it than feel sold to. It's free and live now. I would love your feedback, especially on the search: throw weird queries at it and tell me where it falls short. And if I'm missing a beach you love, tell me. (There's a sister site too, Beaches of the Canaries, if you're headed that way.)
