by•
Basedash Automations puts your AI data analyst on a schedule. Kick off analyses on a recurring cadence, when your data changes, or on demand — and deliver the results to Slack and email as an AI-written report with an executive summary, key metrics, and charts.
Start from 15+ templates for growth, engineering, sales, finance, customer success, and ops — or describe your own analysis in plain English. No SQL. No dashboards to babysit. Your data works for you while you sleep.

Hey everyone, Max here from Basedash.
Today we're launching Automations: AI-powered workflows that analyze your data and deliver the results via Slack or Email.
It's like having an AI analyst, product manager and engineer in one. Working 24/7.
You can trigger a workflow on a schedule, when your data changes (via a SQL query we check every 15 minutes), or on demand. Catch a notable signup, a large transaction, or an error spike the moment it hits your data. The AI will analyze and route it to the right people.
Start from 15+ templates or describe what you want and the AI configures the whole thing.
We've been running our own company on this for months: weekly updates, new customer alerts, error monitoring. It has 10x'd our conversion rate and driven 7 figures in ARR.
PH community gets an extra week on their trial this week. Happy to answer anything.
@maxmusing For a content/marketing-led SaaS tracking engagement metrics, what's one template tweak or prompt that turns raw signals into actionable Slack alerts?

@swati_paliwal We’ve seen good results with prompts that combine a trigger + diagnosis + recommendation. For example: “When a post or campaign overperforms/underperforms, compare it to the last 10 similar assets, identify what’s different (channel, format, audience), and suggest the next experiment.” The alert becomes less “FYI” and more “here’s what to do next.”
I have been watching this space for a while (AI data analysts to save all those poor humans from writing SQL all day) - such a cool idea to add the autonomous element to it!! Excited to follow how this goes

@troy_drummond Appreciate it! The shift we’re seeing is from “help me write SQL” to “tell me what changed and what to do about it.” For example, teams are setting up automations to flag unusual user behavior, campaign performance swings, or high-intent signups, then getting a short analysis directly in Slack. Should be interesting to see how this evolves.
@maxmusing do you think it will be useful to add as an input for other agents? I.e., I can see a world where a central openclaw or paperclip type agent uses your tool as an input. I am sure I can go and look on your marketing site but is this something your team is thinking about?

@troy_drummond 100%. We have something in the pipeline right along these lines 😉
Been a Basedash customer for a few months now, Automations is insanely useful for studying our product funnel/showing us what's going on in our app/for our customers on a daily and weekly basis. Really helps the team focus - has made our velocity and impact the greatest it's ever been. Basedash is great, have recommended to several friends already.
