One week after launch: what we shipped in Banger

Hey Product Hunt 👋

A week after launch, we’ve been tightening the parts of email that get in your way every day:

  • a calmer Work board that keeps low-priority threads filtered by default

  • a sharper native Mac inbox, with better bulk actions, label editing, spam recovery, attachment actions, and composing

  • stronger privacy defaults, including proxied remote images and opt-in read receipts

  • a free email domain checker for MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, reverse DNS, and blocklists

We wrote up the full changelog here:

What would make your native Mac email app feel meaningfully better?

the privacy updates are interesting . how are users responding to features like proxied images and read receipts?

the Mac improvement look promising. native email apps really need more attention.

i thought future email is less about adding more features and more about helping users manage attention better.

totally, I think the work board we introduced, which automatically filters work from everything else, is an important step in the right direction.

Nice to see updates coming so quickly after launch.

I think shipping lots of small improvements based on user feedback is usually better than waiting months for one big release. It keeps the product moving in the right direction.
