Besides the great security attributes of Aster Key, it's the privacy aspect that I love the most. Previously you would fill out an application online and get slaughtered for the next year with phone calls, texts and emails longer after your application process was completed. Now I know when I apply, I don't have to worry about getting inundated.

We hear that ALL the time. Did you know in the US, something insane is allowed? Let's say you go to a lender, and they run your credit through Equifax, TransUnion, or Experian. That lender pays good money to do that. Guess what those credit bureau 💩's do the instant that happens? They sell your info to other lenders, saying you're applying for a loan! If that's not bad enough, a lot of those companies then send you mail that tries to look like the initial firm you are dealing with. Yea, it's a problem. Your data is sent everywhere. It sucks and is unsafe and not private.

Congratulations on the launch. Which other countries are on the road map for the product in the future?

It takes two things for us to launch in a country 1) a lender 2) there are tools to verify assets and income such as Plaid works there. We'll work on Canada, the UK, and the EU as Plaid works there now. I will throw this out there: if any product hunters already work with a lender in their country and want to partner with me, hit me up!

It's kind of surprising to see an app claiming anonymity in the mortgage process, don't you think real lenders would have issues with that, how are you addressing lender trust, also how will you handle potential regulations changes that could impact this approach, curious about your thoughts on long-term sustainability of this model

Download the app. The whole point of this launch is that we are signing a "real" lender a week. Genuine mainstream lenders are in the app TODAY. It was hard but we're starting to roll! Due to how regs work today, you still have to become un-anon at the end of the process. However, regulation is going our way because we protect the data and use approved verification techniques. It's just on your mobile phone and off central servers. Soon, more will work on-chain, permissionable data, and we are setting up your phone to be a decentralized node to manage your data. It's innovative, not our first moonshot start-up, and it's working :) Please help us grow, that's why we are here! Product Hunters are the tech savvy folks in their circles of friends and family.
