Why we built ARmenu ā the problem no one was solving for restaurants
Hey Product Hunt š
I'm Zeeshan, founder of ARmenu.
The idea came from a conversation I kept having. Restaurant owners ā especially Indian, Pakistani, and South Asian restaurants in the UK ā would tell me the same thing: "Western customers come in, look at the menu, and order the same three dishes every time. They won't try anything new because they don't know what it looks like."
That gap between a dish name and what actually arrives at the table costs restaurants real money. Premium dishes go unordered. Desserts go ignored. Customers play it safe.
So I built ARmenu.
Restaurants send us photos of a dish. We build a photorealistic 3D model and send back a print-ready QR code PDF ā in 48 hours. Guests scan with their phone camera. The dish appears life-size in 3D on their table. No app. No download.
Pricing starts at £49 per dish.
I'd love your honest feedback:
- Would you use this at a restaurant?
- What would make you trust a new AR menu provider?
- Anything obviously missing?
Every upvote means a lot for a solo founder building from scratch.
ā Zeeshan
