I've been following the open-source BaaS ecosystem for a few months to find a real alternative to Firebase, and Appwrite came up as the best solution so far. I really like that you ship fast and that the structure keeps simple. Just tried the new Console and it's really good, and the feeling is waaaay better than the previous version. I don't understand why competitors like Supabase are getting more attention, because no solution is as ready as Appwrite for production at the moment. Maybe you could do better on this side because your product definitely requires more attention. Keep up the good work, you gained me as a long-term user, and I would be happy to contribute when I'll be more familiar with the code base :)

We had a really specific idea in mind, and while we love borrowing from mature products, we've really been trying not to be limited by existing solutions. We just want users to build stuff with as little overhead as possible. We're more than willing to throw away our own ideas to get there if necessary, live moving to Svelte so it's more welcoming for OSS contributors ;)
