Hey there!
A little while ago we ran a survey with a bunch of freelancers and other independent workers on how they feel about their work and life. We took the time to put the results into a little report we call "The Slash Workers."
Why “Slash Workers?”
Well, 95 percent of respondents told us they sell multiple talents as part of their freelance business (e.g. Painter / UX Designer / Developer). The multidimensional nature of today’s independent workers reveals an important insight about how the freelance economy has evolved.
For me the most interesting insight was this:
Despite a majority of freelancers (77%) saying that going independent has made them less financially stable, they’re overwhelmingly happier since they’ve gone solo: 68% say their quality of life has improved. Making Freedom the new Wealth.
Hope you enjoy the findings and make sure to watch the killer video we put together ;)
Thanks!
Leif
