Anchor - Craft ATS-friendly resumes with live preview, free forever

by
Anchor is a resume builder with a live, section-based editor and typography-grade output. Everything — editing, previewing, and PDF export — runs entirely client-side, powered by Typst compiled to WASM, so there's no server round-trip and your resume data never has to leave your browser. Pick a template, drag-and-drop reorder sections, tune colors and fonts, then share a public link or export a clean PDF. Free forever.

I built Anchor because every resume tool I tried was either a bloated SaaS behind a paywall, or a Word template that fell apart the moment I changed a section. I wanted something that felt like an editor, not a form — live preview as you type, real typography instead of Times New Roman, and no "upgrade to export" wall. The interesting technical bit: there's no backend PDF rendering at all. Resume content is structured JSON that gets compiled to Typst markup and rendered to canvas/PDF entirely in your browser via Typst-as-WASM. That also means your data stays local until you explicitly choose to share it. Still actively building — an import feature (PDF/JSON/plaintext → resume) is next. Would love feedback on templates and what's missing for your job search.
