How To Strengthen Your AI Memory - Giving ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini much stronger memory.

by
AI memory is getting better, but long projects, fresh chats, and switching between AI tools can still force you to rebuild context from scratch. In this video, I’ll show you a simple no-code system for giving ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini much stronger memory. You’ll see the before-and-after results, the exact workflows I use, and an advanced setup that gives you more control over what AI remembers-even when you switch between different models.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 This video is a practical guide to fixing one of the most annoying AI problems: losing context between chats, projects, and different AI models. I tested different memory setups across ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, then organized the most useful approach into a simple P-P-S Framework: Personal, Project, and Session Memory. The workflow covers: - Personal Memory for stable information about you, your preferences, and how you work - Project Memory for keeping goals, files, rules, and decisions consistent across longer projects - Session Memory for handing off unfinished work into a fresh chat without rebuilding the entire conversation - Portable Memory for sharing the same important context across ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini For the advanced setup, I keep one external memory file in Google Drive and connect that live source to different AI platforms. I also tested what happens after updating the same memory file. ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini could all recognize the new context, although the quality and structure of their answers were different. One important detail: the file needs to be connected through a live integration or connector. Uploading separate copies won’t keep them automatically synchronized when the original changes. Curious to hear from you: how are you currently managing context when you move between AI tools? Comment “MEMORY” and I’ll send you the framework and Portable Memory setup used in the video.
