How it works, under the hood:

  1. You paste a ChatGPT share link into AI Chat Export

  2. The app fetches and parses the conversation

  3. It cleans up formatting and structure

  4. You export it instantly as a PDF, TXT, or Markdown file

The app is built and hosted on Replit, which handles the backend, authentication, and PostgreSQL database behind the scenes. I focused on making the export flow fast, predictable, and clean rather than exposing technical complexity.

If you’re using AI chats for research, documentation, or client work, this removes the copy-paste mess entirely.

Quick update: We identified a breaking change in ChatGPT’s page structure that affected our importer (the selectors we relied on no longer match). I’m shipping a fix now.

If you try it today and it fails, please comment with your browser + OS and whether you’re importing via a direct ChatGPT link or an export file. I’ll prioritize those cases. Thanks for the patience.
