How I built a pure PHP visual drag and drop page builder that hits a 97+ PageSpeed score

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a quick back-story and some architectural insights behind a tool I’ve been building over the last few weeks to solve a massive pain point in my workflow: The Monthly SaaS Tax and Bloated Frameworks.

As digital marketers and developers, we are trapped. We either pay $97-$297/month for proprietary SaaS funnel builders, or we deal with the headache of WordPress, where installing 20+ plugins just to get a functional landing page destroys our Google Page Speed scores (often dropping to 40-60/100).

I wanted something lightweight, lightning-fast, and completely under my control. So I built Adrillya CMS PRO.

The Tech Stack Architecture

Instead of relying on massive node_modules, npm dependencies, or heavy backend frameworks, I went back to basics: Pure PHP (8.1 - 8.3+) with native MySQL/MariaDB.

Because it uses a zero-dependency architecture, the entire system can be deployed on a cheap $2/month shared hosting (cPanel/Plesk) via a simple install.php script in under 3 minutes.

Key Problems We Solved:

  1. Page Load Speed: The production runtime has zero heavy frameworks, allowing generated landing pages to hit a clean 99/100 on Core Web Vitals.

  2. Affiliate Marketing Bloat: Affiliate tracking usually requires heavy third-party tracking scripts. We built a native partner portal inside the core engine that tracks 30-day cookie telemetry and unique clicks without adding a single millisecond to page weight.

  3. Agentic Browsing ready : In this era of AI, ensuring a website is easily readable by agentic AI has become a necessity if we want our products or services to appear in AI-generated responses. Pages build with this tools is Agentic Browsing Ready, These checks ensure high-quality, browsable websites for AI agents

Giving Back to the Community

We just launched our Lifetime Founder tier today. The source code for our Agency license is 100% unencrypted because I believe developers should actually own the tools they buy and have the freedom to white-label it for their clients.

If you are building self-hosted tools or optimizing PHP for high-speed page delivery, I’d love to chat in the comments about how you handle optimization! Let me know what you think.
