Will AI replace traditional rendering — or just the bottleneck?

Will AI replace traditional rendering?

I think the better question is:

What part of traditional rendering should AI replace?

For architects and designers, the biggest pain is often not the final image. It is the slow loop before the final image:

idea → visual direction → feedback → revision → presentation

Every option costs time.
Every revision costs money.
Every design change slows the client conversation.

AI can help replace that bottleneck.

It can generate early visuals, test directions, explore styles, and help teams communicate ideas faster.

But AI does not replace the architect, designer, or visualization artist.

It does not replace judgment, lighting, composition, atmosphere, storytelling, or client understanding.

It replaces the slowest parts of the workflow so humans can focus on better decisions.

That is what we are building with A2Viz AI.

What part of traditional rendering would you want AI to improve first?
