Hi, hi, hi! Welcome back to the Leaderboard. In today's edition: AI is on a fast track to replace keyboards, a Founder and CEO responds to yesterday's takes, and Buildpad wants to make it easier to ship better products. Let's dive in.
Whispr Flow: a Mac dictation app that lets you speak naturally and writes in your style across every application
Whispr Flow tackles one of my biggest writing struggles: the dreaded blank screen. I usually have the ideas floating around in my head, and I can talk through what I want to say, but getting it down on paper? That takes time, stress, and more caffeine than I'd like to admit. So, it’s been pretty awesome watching the words appear on screen as fast as I can speak them. Plus, its 220 wpm speed is a great way to casually impress coworkers.
PandaETL: AI-powered data extraction software.
This is a a response from Gabriele Venturi, CEO of PandaETL to Rajiv's take yesterday
AI autopilots aren’t here yet, and I agree they might still be a few years away. But we’re laying the groundwork to make that future possible. In the meantime, we’ve been working with large enterprises to boost data awareness through PandasAI and PandaETL. This isn’t just about teaching users how to use these tools—it’s also about equipping them with additional resources for explainability and evaluation.
Buildpad: a platform that gives you a structured process to follow for building your product
Buildpad is a solid pick if you're tired of seeing your projects fall flat. It streamlines everything—from validating your idea to building your MVP—with AI tools that help keep you on course. I’m particularly impressed with the Reddit search feature and user persona generator, which provide valuable insights and help you better understand your audience. My only hesitation is that relying too much on AI could make the projects feel a bit impersonal or repetitive. But if you’re struggling with direction, Buildpad could be just the guide you need.
