Build your brand before your product, or launch first and reveal yourself later?
... makes pricing easier. Products from anonymous creators compete on price. Products from known practitioners with a track record compete on trust. That's a completely different conversation. Comment from Samir Asadov(@samir_asadov): For specialist/practitioner products this 'brand
vs
product' framing breaks down the product IS the brand statement. A financial model template built from real deal experience signals more credibility than a thousand brand posts ever could, because the buyer (a CFA with a deal on their desk) reads ... ... were only concerned w/ my wellbeing I'd do the same, but when I have others I'm responsible for, and they themselves have mouths to feed, I think differently about the long term effects of my brand

We spent 6 months building for enterprise. Nobody bought it.
... thought we knew We assumed enterprise customers wanted the same things as our small business users, just more of it. More security. More control. More features. We never talked to them. We read blog posts. We looked at
competitor
pricing pages. We guessed. Here's what we missed: Procurement cycles. Enterprise deals take 6-12 months. We had 30-day sales cycles. We weren't built for that. Security reviews. We needed SOC2. We didn't have it. Customers asked ... ... lessons. What stands out is how common this pattern is. Teams assume enterprise is just more features, but it s actually a completely different motion: longer sales cycles, compliance, onboarding, and trust layers. Also love the point about data

We asked what felt off about AI voices, you told us. We’re fixing it.
... people notice very quickly when expression, emotional timing, and natural variation are missing. That s where the uncanny feeling usually lives - not in the obvious errors, but in the absence of subtle life. We think about something similar at
SpeakUp
In any workflow connected to people, communication, and trust, the missing layer is often not functionality - it s nuance. Really strong direction. If you can make voice cloning feel less like playback and more like presence, that s a meaningful ...

How do you decide what features should be free and what should be paid?
... just letting it rip . I m very curious whether others have struggled with free trial
versus
freemium and whether doing both is a bad idea (I m leaning towards that being a yes by the way). I also wonder if we are giving away too much for free and should be feature gating more. The challenge then shifts from a pricing perspective
