Build your brand before your product, or launch first and reveal yourself later?
... ways to build a brand audience before a product launch, specifically for a solo founder without time for community management or live chat engagement? Comment from Bruce Warren(@bruce_warren): This really comes to what you optimize for speed
vs
signal .Personal brand gives speed, product-first gives cleaner signal. Comment from James Swift(@splitpostio): I've done both across three apps. SpeakUp
In any workflow connected to people, communication, and trust, the missing layer is often not functionality - it s nuance. Really strong direction. If you can make voice cloning feel less like playback and more like presence, that s a meaningful ...

How do you decide what features should be free and what should be paid?
... requests something close to what already exists, i serve the cached version instead of burning another API call. cut my costs by 60-70% overnight. suddenly the free tier became way more generous without actually costing more. the trial
vs
freemium debate is a false choice imo. trials work when your product needs time to click (like writing tools or habit apps). freemium works when value is immediate but scales with usage. combining both usually just confuses people about what ... ... paid tier. Out of curiosity do you usually prefer a free tier, or a short trial that unlocks the full product? Comment from Takahito Yoneda(@y_taka): Your general
