How do you make a "boring" category feel exciting?
... categories are naturally fun to talk about (AI video, dev tools, design tools, consumer apps). People understand the product and get excited pretty quickly. But then there are categories that are important, useful, and valuable, but historically kind of
boring
. Things like analytics, internal tools, compliance, finance, HR software, etc. I think about this a lot while building @Basedash . Business intelligence is not exactly the category most people associate with great taste, speed, or delightful UX. But the underlying problem ... ... very real, and teams need to understand what s happening in their business. So the question is, is the category actually

What way would you market/present a "serious" business?
... Wise, because it is the closest one to the industry :D Comment from Nika(@busmark_w_nika): @vishal7017 do you have any exact examples? Comment from vishal(@vishal7017): @busmark_w_nika I think serious doesn t mean
boring
, it just means trust first, creativity second Best ones I ve seen keep the core message clear and reliable, but still show personality in how they explain things or tell stories People don t mind creativity, they just don t want ... ... good examples in different ways. They do not feel stiff, but the trust signal is still very clear: plain language, useful explanations, transparent tradeoffs, and a product experience that feels reliable. For B2B, I would keep the core promise
boringly

... avid web surfer (yes I'm that old forusing this term) I've visited thousands of websites and bookmarked it to visit later and never came back. Browser built in bookmarks works for someone but not for me. Too
boring
and too compact. So I've build an app that is not
boring
