Hey Product Hunt!
Building on the conversations around our Virtual Card feature, we wanted to highlight another practical benefit teams are finding useful lately:
Every card has a single purpose. No mix-ups, no unclear transactions.
Unauthorized purchases simply can t happen. If the card isn t approved for the vendor, it won t go through.
Budgets stay exactly where you set them. Limits are locked in, and alerts tell you the moment a transaction happens.

Continuing the conversation around our Virtual Card feature, here s another benefit teams have been calling out:
One compromised card doesn t shut everyone down.
Each virtual card has its own number and its own rules. If one card gets hit with a suspicious charge, only that card stops the rest of the team keeps working without disruption.
Replacements are instant.
No waiting days for a plastic card. You can spin up a fresh virtual card in minutes and attach it to Apple Pay or Google Pay right away.

We're excited to announce the launch of our Virtual Card feature, designed to solve some of the most common challenges businesses face with shared business cards.

Maybe this post will help makers understand how much people are willing to spend, what products are useful to them, and what the main motive for buying is.
I personally try to keep track of how much and what I spend. Before I invest in something, I consider:
what will be the return on it (i.e. whether I will earn something by buying/investing in a product),
whether it will be profitable for me in the long term,
whether it will save me time.

Over the past few years, I ve ended up with a scattered stack of tools domains, SaaS subscriptions, plugins, licenses, hosting, etc.
Some are in Google Keep, some in emails, and others I forgot I even signed up for.
I m curious how do you track everything you ve purchased for your projects or startup?
Do you use a password manager?
Manual spreadsheet?
Some kind of custom-built dashboard?

If you're a SaaS, digital product, agency or freelancer what payment gateways do you use to handle local methods, taxes and subscriptions?
PayPal charges me 5% per transaction and their support is unwilling to reduce it to 3% for me while I know they do lower the transaction fee for certain accounts.

We re happy @Mercury customers here at Product Hunt. We previously used SVB (I ve used them at other startups as well), but the interface was clunky, and the bureaucratic process was frustrating so we switched to Mercury and couldn t be happier!
Mercury recently introduced expense and reimbursement features. While it may not have all the bells and whistles and detailed permissioning of longer-established options like @Brex , it meets our current needs.
