Taking Virtual Cards Even Further — Smarter Controls for Real-World Spend 💳

Hey Product Hunt!

Building on the conversations around our Virtual Card feature, we wanted to highlight another practical benefit teams are finding useful lately:

  • Every card has a single purpose. No mix-ups, no unclear transactions.

  • Unauthorized purchases simply can t happen. If the card isn t approved for the vendor, it won t go through.

  • Budgets stay exactly where you set them. Limits are locked in, and alerts tell you the moment a transaction happens.

Virtual Cards That Keep Your Team Moving

Hey Product Hunt!

Continuing the conversation around our Virtual Card feature, here s another benefit teams have been calling out:

  • One compromised card doesn t shut everyone down.

Each virtual card has its own number and its own rules. If one card gets hit with a suspicious charge, only that card stops the rest of the team keeps working without disruption.

  • Replacements are instant.

No waiting days for a plastic card. You can spin up a fresh virtual card in minutes and attach it to Apple Pay or Google Pay right away.

SharePay introduction
My name is Zeejah and I m currently building SharePay, a fintech platform designed to make shared payments and repayment agreements easier to manage. The idea came from a personal experience. I booked a trip with friends and paid upfront, then had to chase everyone to pay me back. One person never paid and it made the situation awkward. I realised this happens constantly between friends, groups and even small businesses with customers. SharePay solves this with two core features: SharePay Split allows users to split payments before a transaction is completed, so one person doesn t have to pay upfront and chase everyone later. SharePay Promise allows individuals and businesses to create structured repayment agreements with clear terms, repayment schedules and automated reminders. The goal is to remove the awkwardness of chasing money and create accountability around repayments. We ve built the MVP and validated demand through surveys and early feedback. Right now I m focusing on refining the B2B version of Promise so businesses can use it as a flexible invoicing and instalment payment tool. I d love feedback on: The product positioning The B2B invoicing / instalment use case Go to market strategies for early users Potential integrations with platforms where people already owe money (marketplaces, service platforms, etc).

🚀 AMA: We are Google & Honey alum and we just launched Kudos, your new checkout assistant!
Hi Product Hunt community! My name s Tikue, co-founder of Kudos, and I m so excited to announce that we re LIVE on Product Hunt! After spending several years helping build Google Pay and Affirm, my co-founder and I came to the realization that card issuers make credit cards unnecessarily complicated. So over the past year, we brought on a team many from Google Pay and PayPal Honey, and built Kudos. Our mission is to make every purchase as delightful as possible by streamlining the checkout process and taking the guesswork out of credit card rewards and benefits. Kudos is a free shopping extension that helps you pick the best card at checkout on over 2 million sites and doubles your credit card rewards across 15,000 partners. As this is our first time launching on the platform, your support means the world to us! Let us know what you think and drop us a comment below. Link: https://www.producthunt.com/post...

Thanks guys :)

How many and what type of subscriptions do you have?

Maybe this post will help makers understand how much people are willing to spend, what products are useful to them, and what the main motive for buying is.

I personally try to keep track of how much and what I spend. Before I invest in something, I consider:

  • what will be the return on it (i.e. whether I will earn something by buying/investing in a product),

  • whether it will be profitable for me in the long term,

  • whether it will save me time.

How do you track all the digital tools, domains & subscriptions you’ve bought over the years?

Over the past few years, I ve ended up with a scattered stack of tools domains, SaaS subscriptions, plugins, licenses, hosting, etc.

Some are in Google Keep, some in emails, and others I forgot I even signed up for.

I m curious how do you track everything you ve purchased for your projects or startup?

  • Do you use a password manager?

  • Manual spreadsheet?

  • Some kind of custom-built dashboard?

If you had the last $100 in your pocket, what product would you invest in to get back on track?

This is a small test of your financial literacy and entrepreneurial mindset. :)

The art is mostly about making the most of the least, so share your approach to situations where you have to be creative.

What’s the easiest no-code tool for handling subscriptions + payments?
Hey Makers I m exploring options for managing subscriptions, payments, and authentication in a super simple way. Ideally, something that s: 1. No-code / low-code friendly 2. Easy to integrate without a ton of setup 3. Handles the boring stuff like billing, invoicing, cancellations, and user access automatically I ve looked at a few tools, but many feel too heavy for a small MVP. Curious to know: What are you using right now? Any lightweight tools that worked really well for your early-stage product? Bonus if it has a generous free tier or is affordable for indie founders. Would love to hear what s working for this community before I commit to something!

What are best payment gateways for global sales?

If you're a SaaS, digital product, agency or freelancer what payment gateways do you use to handle local methods, taxes and subscriptions?

PayPal charges me 5% per transaction and their support is unwilling to reduce it to 3% for me while I know they do lower the transaction fee for certain accounts.

How Many Subscriptions Do You Have? 😵
Hey, Product Hunt friends! I just realized I have no idea how many subscriptions I ve signed up for! Every month, I see random charges on my card for services I completely forgot about or don t even use anymore. Does anyone else struggle with this?

Startup Banking - Which do you use: SVB, Mercury, Brex, Rho, other?

We re happy @Mercury customers here at Product Hunt. We previously used SVB (I ve used them at other startups as well), but the interface was clunky, and the bureaucratic process was frustrating so we switched to Mercury and couldn t be happier!

Mercury recently introduced expense and reimbursement features. While it may not have all the bells and whistles and detailed permissioning of longer-established options like @Brex , it meets our current needs.
