Why are there so few real-world applications of AI in the workplace?

Hi hunters! What I can observe nowis that there there are few used-cases of AI being practically applied in the workplace. This scarcity of visible, tangible use cases contributes to a lack of widespread understanding about how AI can genuinely simplify and enhance both life and work. What do you think? Why do we see relatively few real-world examples of AI implementation in the workplace? I think our version of "AI" is very skewed toward the recent advancements of OpenAI. There is AI everywhere in our lives in my opinion in the workplace. If you use Teams or Goole Meet there's background noise suppression, if you use Excel and it auto-recommends summing the column of numbers, if you're on Tableau and use the clustering feature/forecast feature, etc... Just because something isn't "chat" related, doesn't mean it isn't based on machine learning. There these micro examples of this throughout our daily lives that I believe are missed.

@kyle_desana Yes, totally agree that there are a lot of everyday examples that we do not even realize as cases of using AI.

I agree, however I did start noticing some project management tools are starting to add AI in their applications but it's not chat oriented. Some examples include Monday.com(Still beta testing), Notion, and Clickup. However, you can't ask the AI for specific information, it can only perform actions such as writing a document or summary. Very basic stuff. I think that people dont know how else to use it to its full potential. I think some thinking outside the box is required in the engineering space. My startup, Klickless, is trying to change that. Our goal is to have full conversations with the AI as if it were your assistant. It will have access to all of your data and you can ask for anything and ask for suggestions based off of your data. Our final goal is to have a decent conversation like Jarvis from Iron Man. So far, the engineering is complex and not simple as to just implement OpenAI API. We have to do some stuff on our own to acheive this and it's not easy to build such an Application that you mentioned specifically about the workplace.
