What's the best route to take to become an iOS Engineer?

👋, I am looking to become an iOS engineer, I've started to learn JS and will be learning Python shortly (because I want to specialise in AI, ML and Cloud) but what's the best route to take without having a degree? I foresee just creating a apps for problems that I have an use ML, AI and cloud frameworks (such as CoreML, CloudKit, AWS etc) and become really good at them. Stick them on PH, Airport, HN and Twitter. In like 2-3 years time I can get a job as an iOS Engineer (Mid-level). Love to hear people's thoughts on what to do, but UNI is out of the option. best
