What is the SEO tactic that works best for products on PH?

The one that is the easiest for me to execute, with the highest conversion rate to actual customers, is the "vs" piggyback tactic. Let's say you are launching an email marketing product called "Mail Easy." Step 1 Use a keyword research tool and search the top brands in your space plus "vs." Search = mailchimp vs Results. mailchimp vs constant contact and many many more like this Step 2 Create a comparison blog post that compares Mailchimp vs Constant Contact vs Your Product (Mail Easy). The title of the post would be: Mailchimp vs Constant Contact vs Mail Easy Step 3 Turn your blog post into a YouTube video. Use the same title: Mailchimp vs Constant Contact vs Mail Easy Step 4 Repeat the process with all the major brands that are most searched on Google within your space. Here are the reasons why this tactic is awesome. #1 "vs" keywords are some the least competitive phrases out there with the most traffic. #2 "vs" searches are at the bottom of the funnel and have a high conversion rate. #3 You can rank in the top 5 on YouTube for "vs" keywords in a matter of a week. #4 You can use your "vs" posts for brand searches (ex: MailChimp) on Google Ads, and the CPC will be really low compared to using a sales landing page.

Great idea, Brandon. And the same strategy works for "...alternatives". E.g. "Mailchimp Alternatives". Also works for "Free Mailchimp Alternatives" etc. (in case your product is free during a startup growth phase).

@sunebthorsen The "alternatives" is another great one because they are either unhappy with the product or the price is too high.
