What do you value the most before joining an early-stage startup as a marketer?

As a marketer, what do you value the most in an (early-stage) startup before committing to joining? For me, the biggest value is alignment with the founders on what marketing is and how it should be done and, second, the product vision and founder stories. How do you vet?
