It's hard to go back when most people have the expectation of remote work now

In my experience, those who insist that it's time to return to the office often have hidden agendas, such as financial gain or incentives from building management to showcase the building at full capacity and make it more appealing to potential buyers or tenants. It's difficult to identify a single root cause, but anyone who claims that the WFH is over and pushes for a return to the office reveals a significant disconnection from society, and I have serious doubts about their leadership capabilities.

Hey Daniel, nice word: Remork = remote work. :) Agree with Eden.

My .02, it's not the end. Only the beginning. Whether a company does it or not, all depends on factors. Larger companies will require a hybrid type approach as we're seeing more forced mandates. But mid to small companies will adopt more remote options. I think many of the large companies are trying to get butts back in seats due to lease/financial reasons and want to utilize the office space that they're paying for. Unfortunately we're starting to see stories now of FAANG type companies stating they're going to start tracking badge scanning (and tie to performance reviews) to make sure people are coming in to the office, which doesn't build trust, is detrimental to morale, and instead creates a big brother surveillance feeling.
