Now that Figma has a dark interface, does it inspire you to design products that support dark mode?

Only when it needs it or is acceptable, otherwise, there's no point.

@michael_andreuzza Hey Michael! How do you define if it's needed or acceptable? What stop you from supporting it in every project?
Well, @fmerian some UIs are not made to have dark mode.
For example, a hospital website...dark mode, ...maybe not?...psychological effects, is out of place...
Some of my apps, like colorsandfonts.com, It used to be dark for long time, but then I saw that the colours don't look the same, ... plus is a place where people comes to work, ...
Is just an example.
@michael_andreuzza Absolutely! I remember the early days of C&F and its light/dark interfaces. Still a source of inspiration. Thanks, Michael! π
I think every website should have a dark theme- if not then the users who need dark mode will use an extension, which can decline the quality of a website.
I have astigmatism, and apparently a large population does as well. Dark theme is necessary to read a web page
Yes, our product supports dark mode. But we don't support light mode π‘
Yeah, we have started implementing dark mode, and the reason for decision is to have people focus more on the contents than the UI.
@djteknokid Fantastic! π
Whatβs the most challenging part of implementing dark mode from your point of view?
Evidently, a significant number of people share this sentiment. The inclusion of a dark theme is essential for optimal web page readability.
