Are you working on a project this weekend? If so, leave a comment saying what you're working on! Feel free to drop a link and ask for feedback. I'll check out your site, sign up for your product, give it a test run, etc.

Working on https://cadenceprints.com , just getting a few last things in order before launch.

@kzhave This is really cool! I don't run or bike so I don't have any Strava adventures like that. I like your website, though. It's very clean and I immediately understand what the value prop is. Do you have any initial interest from friends/early customers?
Kaizhi Wei
@ryan_wilson6 Thanks for the feedback! There's been interest from friends and a few early customers from a single instagram post I made. I'm definitely guilty of making the mistake of building in a vacuum and not doing enough to validate the idea beforehand, so it feels good to see that it wasn't all in vain hah.
Ryan Wilson
@kzhave Hahah same here. It's crazy how we all know that building in a vacuum is a trap but still do it. I'm very guilty of it as well. This seems like the type of thing you could grow on instagram. Follow hashtags specific to the area, comment and connect with people there, and post professional images of the prints. Have you explored other possible integrations than Strava that give you a good path map like that?
Kaizhi Wei
@ryan_wilson6 For sure, instagram will be the primary focus of my growth strategy. I looked into a few other popular fitness apps but none of them seem to offer an API that made it simple to get access to users' fitness activity. One other possibility could be to parse an uploaded .gpx file - these are fairly common in gps enabled fitness trackers.

@kzhave I like this. A lot. Feel like the amount of people using Strava has really jumped a notch recently which will be of help hopefully!

Hey, working on https://giveinternet.org/. Looking for honest feedback possible on our new landing page mockup - https://gofile.io/d/kyZUnx

@gjibla Your new landing page is very beautiful! And such an impactful idea! Well done George... If I want to make a suggestion I say it's very lengthy! Maybe I'm wrong but I think some sections aren't necessary for your Homepage. You can mention them briefly and send users to other pages for more details. And another little thing: In your current landing page you have a livechat with a real picture of your co-founder! I think it's a nice touch for a new non-profict who want to earn people's trust. If I could be of more help, it would be a pleasure for me. Just ask... Wish you the best of luck.
Ryan Wilson
@gjibla This is an awesome cause. I immediately submitted my email. I really like the design of your new landing page. It's got a very nice design. The only thing I'd recommend is changing your copy to make the site visitor (potential donor) the hero of the story. i.e. instead of "Let's give internet access" -> "Give internet access". The book "Building a storybrand" by Donald Miller is really helpful for highlighting how you can use the elements of story in your marketing.
Kaizhi Wei
@gjibla For your landing page I think you would get more conversions if you had an inline form for the "Leave your email" CTA instead of redirecting to a separate signup form. Aside from that I really like what you're doing here.
George Jibladze
@khannavid Thanks a lot! We just though that in mobile era users are more used to scroll than go to the menu, but I agree there is definitely a room to shrink some content.
George Jibladze
@ryan_wilson6 Agree, we'll have to work on a copy and thanks for the book suggestion, will definitely look into it! Thanks!

Busy weekend for me! Switching auth providers and launching custom domains for https://pory.io 🤞 Pory
Ryan Wilson
@shooting_unicorns This is really cool! No-code is so hot right now. Your landing page looks pretty good. I like how you have examples of what you can build with it. It would be cool if when you click on one of the examples, it takes you to a tutorial of how to build exactly that. How many steps would say it takes to build one of those sites using your tool?
Samantha Wong
@ryan_wilson6 Great idea Ryan! We launched with 0 onboarding which was definitely a mistake... I've now started writing tutorials and help guides for each template. It's not easy juggling both tech and business together haha! Still got some tech debt to get across the line first before I can dedicate more time on this. Thanks for checking Pory out. 😊 The hustle is real :)

Actually working every weekend :). We have like a week before the launch of the waitlist. Right now you can check https://twitter.com/getmoni_io and stay tuned to get an access to website.
Ryan Wilson
@garrigabrel Just followed! From your twitter profile, I'm a little confused by what the product actually is... I think you should take your tagline "Own the data. Outplay the market." and put it in your cover photo. Then use the bio to say "Moni is x" so it's a lot more clear to someone landing on that profile.
Garri Gabrelian 👾
@ryan_wilson6 Yeah, actually u're right. It's going to be "Moni is the easiest way to track crypto portfolios and explore the market" .

Feeling inspired...I'm working on a side project to a side project. It's what you have to do when your side project is a travel app and no one is traveling for fun right now. Time to pivot. https://www.duckwyn.com
Sumit Datta [dwata] 👋
@cwills Hey! I was in the same bucket, well almost. I was building https://travlyng.com since 2018 but still could not get a revenue model up. Then I took a break end of last year hoping to get things steady. But I had to give up with it this year, no one is gonna travel for some months, not enough volume. So I pivoted to https://dwata.com. Now full time focused on this.

I am working on finishing up my website. My app (my actual product) is nowhere near ready, I am still looking for engineers, but I am making this site for investors, etc
Ryan Wilson
@jeburnham Cool! Can you share the idea?
Benjamin Stremitzer
Hi, @ryan_wilson6 Sure, I am working often over the weekend. Often one gets further on the weekend than during the week. And as we just launched simil.io there is enough to do. https://www.producthunt.com/post... Have a nice day!
Ryan Wilson
@benjaminstremitzer Very interesting. I looked through your PH post and landing page. Do you have businesses that are interested in your data? This seems like the type of thing where the information you have can be very valuable to some kind of businesses. Do you have a path to doing deals with businesses?
Yves Hoppe
Working on https://empoche.com, combining automatic time-tracking and task management. Just pushed a new release. Could use some feedback on the app.
Simone Zienna
I didn't last weekend but this weekend I'll be working on https://app.metnu.com It's a web app that generates healthy tailored diet plans from the foods you like :)
