Everyone stopped being scared of AI. That might be the actual mistake now.

Everyone remembers the first wave of AI panic, jobs disappearing overnight.
It didn't happen that fast, so people relaxed, and now a lot of designers and editors i know genuinely believe AI still can't do what they do.

Tested some of the newer models recently. That confidence feels outdated to me now.

Not trying to fearmonger, just think the real risk right now isn't panic, it's complacency. The first warning didn't come true on schedule, so people stopped checking whether it eventually would.

Curious how others who've actually tested the latest tools feel about this, still confident, or starting to notice the gap closing.

Do you actually use the products you upvote, or is upvoting its own little habit?

First post here. Been browsing Product Hunt for a while without an account and finally made one.

Honest question about my own behavior. I upvote things way more than I try them. Something looks interesting, I hit the arrow, feel like I participated, and move on. I couldn't tell you the last thing I upvoted and then actually signed up for.

It's not that upvoting is bad. It's just that it's become this frictionless thing I do while scrolling, and it has almost nothing to do with whether I'd use the product. Which makes me wonder what the upvote even means to me at this point.

Do you upvote things you'd actually use, or do you upvote to signal "this looks cool" and move on? And has anyone here found a product because of the upvote count specifically, or do you ignore the numbers entirely?

Quick mockups

Hi! How do you approach creating a mockups from running Svelte and JS apps? Often I need to quickly visualize how adding a new UI element would look like and get approval for it. Generating HTMLs from scratch for this is error-prone and I was wondering if you might have other proven methods?
