Is your product solving a real-world problem?

I was browsing Product Hunt the other day.

So many launches. Cool designs. Polished ideas. But something felt off.

I think it comes down to this:

Are we building for impact, or just building fast?

What Makes "Good" Content?

As someone who's spent a lot of time in both content creation tools and educational content, this is a question I get asked all the time.

It's one of those questions that's neither simple nor complicated.

The trickiest part is that "good" doesn't have a universal answer. "Good" is super subjective. What one person thinks is great, another might find too basic, too difficult, or just plain boring. And honestly, people's judgment about content gets swayed by all sorts of things their environment, social circles, even current trends.

Why are simple online tools so bloated these days?

Ever tried to format JSON or count words, and ended up stuck on some page filled with ads, popups, cookie banners, or premium only buttons? Somehow even the most basic utilities like case converters, color pickers, or timestamp converters have become exhausting to use. Well, here s a free suite of tiny, no-nonsense tools: https://copyber.com/tools Feels like how the internet used to be, right? You re welcome.

Do you think there's any chance that Apple will win the AI battle?

The most prominent pioneer in AI is certainly OpenAI, but Grok, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude aren t doing badly either.

And now that these tools have already adapted to the market, it feels like Apple is only just waking up.

What’s your favorite social platform in 2025?

Social media has evolved a lot.

What started as a way to stay in touch with classmates and friends has turned into something entirely different: a place where everyone, from students to CEOs, is creating content, building audiences, and gaining professional exposure.

What piece of advice would you give graduates and high school students to prepare them for future?

The world is changing rapidly due to AI and technology.

New generations (and not only they) have to adapt to changes in the job market.

I know that many of us at PH have a founder mindset.

Do you think AI will replace recruiters in 6 months?

My LinkedIn feed has been a complete warzone - recruiters having existential crises, HR scrambling to "AI-proof" their jobs.

This feels like classic "AI will replace [insert job]" panic. But recruitment isn't just screening resumes and scheduling calls.

Do ideal work conditions matter to you or can you work from anywhere?

Everyone focuses differently. And for a lot of people, where and how they work makes a huge difference.

Some need silence. Others need background noise. Some can t stand the cold, others lose focus if it s too warm. Coworking spaces? Only if they have the right vibe. Offices? Only if colleagues aren t interrupting every five minutes.

What’s your single biggest struggle right now with AI?

I m curious for anyone building products with AI in 2025. What s your single biggest struggle right now? Maybe it s noisy architecture drift when using AI-assistants. Or pricing surprises due to compute costs. Or struggling to retain trust in AI output. Drop your pain point and vote on how you're trying to handle it let s learn from real world experience. I am genuinely curious and would love to hear from you!

Which platform do you consider trustworthy when reading product reviews?

Whenever I m about to buy something (especially something more expensive), I can be easily influenced by recommendations from people I trust and know. That might be well-known accounts on X or suggestions from friends.

Or, I go and read the reviews.

What social channels do you run your company on?

Building a community online for a startup can sometimes be challenging. What platforms do you use to build your company s?

⚖️ Work-Life Balance in Startups: Realistic Goal or Wishful Thinking?

Hey Product Hunt Friends!

Startup life is often seen as exciting but stressful, with blurred lines between work and personal life. Many founders and makers advocate hustle culture, while others emphasize balance and wellness.

What’s the simplest product you’ve used that genuinely improved your daily life?

I ve been building a smart home product that s meant to quietly improve people s lives without adding complexity, which got me thinking

What s one simple product (physical or digital) that genuinely made your daily life easier, better, or just a bit more enjoyable?

Maybe it s a tool that automates something boring.

What piece of advice would you give to someone who wants to start building a personal brand?

I can safely say that Product Hunt is the first platform where I managed to achieve a relatively large number of followers as a person.

(It wasn't the plan, because the plan was to focus on the Slovak community on Instagram, and I'm honestly glad it didn't work out.)... Anyway...

Everyone’s building with AI but is anyone actually using it daily?

Feels like every other product launch now has some kind of AI baked in summarizing, generating, guessing what we want before we want it. I m building with it too, and it s impressive but I keep wondering how often users really come back for it. So here s the question: Are you actually using AI features in the tools you rely on daily? Or do they feel more like a cool extra than a core habit? Even better: Have you seen a product where the AI feels like it belongs like it s genuinely useful and not just a checkbox? Curious what s really sticking and what s just surface-level hype.

What makes you stop scrolling and actually try a new product?

Just curious what actually makes you pause and give a new product a try?

Is it a killer landing page?

A strong tagline?

Super clear use-case?

What do you think about instant movie face swap? One click and you’re the star of any scene

Hey Product Hunters!

I ve been thinking about a new project idea and I d love to hear your thoughts.

Face swaps are everywhere but surprisingly, there s still no easy, user-friendly tool to instantly put your face into iconic movie scenes, straight from the browser. No downloads, no complicated setup just pick a scene, upload your photo, and watch yourself become the hero (or villain!) in seconds.

How it would work:

Are AI tools making us worse thinkers? What can we build to fix this?

There s growing evidence that our heavy reliance on AI is reshaping how we think.

  • A 2025 MIT Media Lab study found that people writing essays with ChatGPT showed significantly lower brain activity, produced less original work, and retained less of what they wrote compared to those writing manually ([Washington Post](https://www.washingtonpost.com/h...)).

  • This builds on earlier work showing that people remember less when they know information is stored externally, like on a computer or the cloud ([Sparrow et al., 2011, Science](https://www.science.org/doi/10.1...)).

  • A recent systematic review also found that students over-relying on AI dialogue systems showed reduced decision-making skills and weaker memory retention ([SLE Journal](https://slejournal.springeropen....)).

Even Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, has said:

People have a very high degree of trust in ChatGPT, which is interesting, because AI hallucinates. It should be the tech that you don t trust that much.
