It’s funny how that happens. From the outside, so many things sound straightforward - 'just build the pipeline,' 'just design the flow,' 'just ship the MVP.' Then you start doing it and realize it’s 10x harder than you imagined. But I think that’s also the addictive part of building, the struggle makes the wins so much sweeter.

Being someone who designs UX, I’d say the experience itself matters a lot to me. I could be completely unaware of a product, but if the design feels intuitive and polished, it pulls me in and makes me want to explore further. If it looks good, I’ll usually just take a quick glance at reviews and honestly, even a decent rating is often enough to satisfy my scrutiny. It’s like the design earns...

I can relate to this a lot. Most devs I know love the building but freeze up when it’s time to “sell.” It feels fake because we picture sales as pushing, when really it can just be explaining your thing in a way that makes sense to others. What’s helped me: Don’t try to “sound like marketing.” Just explain why you built it and what problem it solved for you. That’s usually the best copy anyway....
