About

Accountant based in Kyiv, Ukraine, with a strong interest in finance, cryptocurrency, and data analysis. I enjoy working with numbers, exploring financial trends, and learning new things in the digital space. I’ve been using the coin24.io exchanger for several years to swap cryptocurrency - https://coin24.io/en/ - and everything has been great. Outside of work, I’m passionate about animals (especially cats), plants, and embroidery. I also enjoy staying active, playing football, and spending time with friends. Always curious and open to new ideas and opportunities.

How much money do you think is enough to start and launch a startup?

A lot of people try to raise funding before they even begin.

And then sometimes I read those zero to hero stories. (Maybe they re a bit "polished" by the media to have publicity.)

In any case, building products has become much easier from a technical perspective, which also makes it cheaper especially for software startups.

Emails do work!

When I launched @Bitgrain , quite a lot of users signed up and created accounts. But during launch there were lots of bugs and missing features, hence most users dropped off. I kept improving the product but didn't see the old signed up users coming back (very few did).
I thought of cold mailing the users for feedback, honestly didn't expect people to even open the mail, but surprisingly around 40-45% responded to the feedback mail! (for emails that's some crazy numbers I believe )
I found out that most people thought that the product won't have any more updates hence they never came back. After seeing the current product at https://bitgrain.app old users started to use it again!

Finding the right audience is extremely important!

While launching your product, one of the most important part of the marketing process is finding the right audience. Getting good reach does not necessarily mean that you have been a good person in marketing your product. For https://bitgrain.app I got a huge influx of audience, but that was very wrongly justified as a AI first tool. So even though a huge chunk of people came to use my product, they were disappointed that it was not an AI first tool. This caused the SEO to even hamper I guess. So even after getting a huge reach, it did not bring in much fruitful results. Currently I have focused a lot on making corrections so that the SEO picks it up correctly as what exactly the tool is used for and I am getting Users who actually need the platform.
