He was genuinely surprised:

One Howdy message said: "I saw you graduated from Michigan" - Woohoo.
I thought it was a hallucination I looked and her last post was about graduating from University of Michigan.

We all get tons of cold emails, DMs, and connection requests that go straight to trash. But every once in a while someone gets it right

I've been a part of PH for some year now and have come across hundreds of great launches and met some really cool and amazing people from all around the world.

Often times, I'm more interested in knowing the personal story of the makers who've put in their heart and soul into building a product for the benefit of the society. While there's only a limited set of things one could speak about in their maker's first comment, these first comments do reveal behind the scenes and motivation of the people building it.
