What AI-native features could make Product Hunt even better?
I have been a Product Hunt user for 5 years now, and it's been amazing to see how much the platform has evolved.
That said, I sometimes feel the absence of AI-native features. Things like smart filtering of fake profiles during the signup stage, automated link health checks on launch pages, or even an AI-driven support assistant (remember the old chat widget?).
Introducing myself!
Hi guys! My name is Maria -- co-founder and content queen of Creatium (launching Sept 28th).
Long-time lurker, first-time poster.
A little bit about me:
- Spent the last 4 years hanging out with engineers creating an app that makes it easy to build interactive learning experiences and videos that talk back, including video roleplays, coaches, games, and simulations
- mama of 2 boys (7&9), whose experience during the pandemic inspired what we built
- a spoiled wife of a product manager, who is obsessed with F1 (so naturally, I am too)
- Techstars alum (it's how I met one of my cofounders)
- LaGree addict and big reader
Looking forward to trying more products on here, and hearing your feedback on ours!!

The Rise of the Invisible App: Magic or Mess?
With this whole AI trend, many tools are trying to be invisible: not apps you open, but helpers that quietly run in the background. They show up just enough interface: a chat box, a nudge, or an API call to deliver value, but otherwise stay out of sight.
With today s agent hype, this idea feels like it s accelerating. Agents promise to handle tasks across your apps without you lifting a finger.
Which companies would you invest in if they were freely tradable?
Some companies are love brands for me, and I d like to support them. Others I see growing, and I d love to ride the wave. :D
Do you have any companies you d like to invest in, but that don t have a public offering yet? Which ones?
My startup made $2M before I sold it. Here are 16 things I learned
I launched my SaaS company, Encharge, in 2019 with less than $1,000 in my account, no funding, no network, no audience, and no accelerators. It generated $2 million before we sold it. Here are 17 things I learned from it.
1. Startups are a last-man-standing game.
The one to win is not the fastest, smartest, or best. It's the most persistent and resilient.
Just wanna introduce myself
Hey PH fam! I m Noah, building something fresh for sellers and shoppers that s all about community, discovery, and speed. I noticed how big marketplaces often feel clunky and impersonal, so I wanted to create a space where sellers feel supported, buyers enjoy exploring, and everyone gets a smoother, more engaging experience. I can t reveal all the magic just yet, but think of it as a beautiful, local-first marketplace with a twist you ll love. Excited to share more soon!
Breaking the Ice: My PH Intro
Hey, everyone! Hi, I'm Chilarai Mushahary.
I've always liked to build things, whether it was messing around with early web projects or getting really into APIs and developer tools. I've worked on many different parts of the tech stack over the years, including backend engineering, cloud infrastructure, and more recently, a lot of AI testing.
Where do your goals come from?
1/
We all set goals.
Some come from a deep personal dream.
Others are inspired by people we admire, books we read, or even moments of frustration where we say: This has to change.
vibe coding is real, just not in our repo
i just draw a box and write make app and boom agent writes perfect code
me and my team:
spends 4 hours debugging a webhook that randomly fails in prod
fights over whether a boolean flag should be is_active or active
merges a PR that touches 182 files because Typescript
writes actual logic that vibe agents refuse to touch
What advice would you give to a newcomer who is going to submit to Product Hunt for the first time?
Today, I am co-organising my first hackathon in my country, and I will give a talk to the participants about Product Hunt as one of the ways to distribute a product.
Some participants may hear about the platform for the first time, and I would like to encourage them a little in building and launching products.
How do you balance marketing and self-advocacy against your personal brand and reputation?
I think a lot of the PH community can relate that we have a lot of pride in our projects/software and want as many people as possible to see and use it. As a result, we often self-promote across platforms like Reddit, LinkedIn, X, etc.
On the one hand, I call this self-advocacy, because no one else will post about you and what you've dedicated hundreds of hours to. On the other hand, self-promoting too much can lead to reputational harm, getting marked as a spammer, and being lost in the sea of other "self-promoters."
How do you find this balance? I think I tend towards being too conservative. Any tips on successfully getting your message/product out there without being a shill?
Final thought: it feels like self-promotion is okay for already successful companies, but up and comers are seen as spammers. Bit of a catch 22?
Hello Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Matt
Hello Product Hunt! Matt here from @Stellify
We're building something unique: the world's most ambitious collaborative coding project. Think of it as "Wikipedia for code" - one massive, shared codebase where developers from around the globe contribute together.
From zero to one: my journey with badcat.ai
Hi I'm Lancy.
Before starting my entrepreneurial journey, I was a marketing professional with a love for cats and technology. I noticed a lack of platforms for cat lovers to express their creativity, which inspired me to create badcat.ai a place where users can draw cats and get them rated by AI.
With no technical background, I faced significant challenges. I self-studied programming through online courses, often feeling overwhelmed. After months of hard work, I launched a basic prototype, which allowed users to draw and score their ideal cats.
Feedback from friends and family helped refine the user experience. I added a voting feature to highlight popular and less favored creations, enhancing engagement. Joining developer communities provided support and motivation, reminding me I wasn t alone.
Who should be responsible for the threat that AI potentially poses?
Today, I came across an article on Techcrunch describing research that found that AI models not only hallucinate, but also lie.
While these are small lies, such as claiming that a task was completed when it wasn t, researchers stress they haven t seen harmful scheming in real-world use yet, but warn risks will rise as AI takes on more complex tasks.
Hello from the cyber corner!
Hello folks!
I'm Jonny, 2nd-time founder from the UK. I run Threatplane, a small cyber-security consultancy, we work primarily with engineering teams to level-up security in a pragmatic, business-aligned way. I've just joined Product Hunt am hope to launch our platform on here soon to see how the engineers/technical founders among you folks like it. We are just getting it shipshape.
What inspired you to start a business?
I'll say it bluntly that running a business is not as easy as it is presented on the Internet. You have to come up with a good and useful idea, and even then, you don't win.
You can only see the results after a long time. Not everyone can do it for a long time. To do it, you need to have a strong motive. For some people, it may be a family tradition, for some, money.
Seeking advice on boosting exposure for our new startup product
Hello everyone!
I m one of the co-founders of a startup that just launched our new product: https://www.producthunt.com/prod...
While we re excited about what we ve created, we re still in the early stages and haven't gained many users yet. Given our limited budget, we re looking for effective channels to increase our exposure beyond Product Hunt.
I launched my first vibecoding project 'badcat.ai' last week
Hey everyone! I launched badcat.ai on Product Hunt last week! You can check it out here:https://www.producthunt.com/prod...

Draw Your Own Cat: Use our simple tool to create a unique cat art!
What we learned relaunching on Product Hunt
Our first Product Hunt launch didn t go well. We put something out there, pushed for votes, and hoped for the best. It didn t work.
For our relaunch, we took a completely different approach. Here s what changed:
Engage, don t just post. We spent weeks commenting on other launches, supporting makers, and building trust. This time, people recognized us, not just the product.
Conversations > upvotes. What made the difference were detailed comments and feedback. The algorithm rewards authentic engagement.
Storytelling > specs. Instead of listing features, we shared why we built it and the problem it solved.
Timing is everything. Launching at midnight PST gave us momentum when the U.S. audience woke up.
Expectation reset. PH is less a sales channel, more a credibility engine. The real ROI shows up later, in awareness, trust, and partnerships.
What stood out the most: The community. The honest feedback, encouragement, and tough questions shaped our roadmap more than any internal discussion could.
Tip: Use the draft function to avoid launch issues!
Hey community!
I wanted to share something I've been noticing a lot lately that might save you some headaches.
