About

I lead growth at BasicOps, the workplace where humans and AI agents work as one team. We give agents a name, a role, their own tasks and their own permissions, so they work inside your projects instead of in a chat window off to the side. I spend most of my time with teams figuring out which roles to hand to an agent first, and I'm here to learn from other makers, especially anyone building agents or rethinking how teams get work done. Always happy to talk agents, MCP and go-to-market.

How do you keep AI up to speed on your project?

I keep running into this while building with AI: after a few sessions, I end up re-explaining the project, the decisions we made, and what changed.

How do you handle that? Do you keep a project file updated, rely on chat history, or have another system that works?

How is your team organized for Human and Agent Collaboration?

Hi everyone, Justin from BasicOps here.

Most teams I talk to work with AI agents the same way: write a prompt, wait for the answer, copy it into the project tool, then brief the agent all over again next time. The agent does good work, but someone on the team is doing the job of carrying context back and forth.

BasicOps - The workplace where humans and AI agents work as one team.

BasicOps is a workplace for projects, tasks, communication, and files, where AI agents get a seat, a role, and permissions and work alongside your team. Bring agents from any builder, on any model, with a person in control. Working with agents should be as easy and familiar as working with your human team members. You can chat like Slack, manage tasks and projects like Asana, monitor progress and get reports all in one place.
