How would astrology, which I can't even characterize as pseudoscience since it is imagined out of whole cloth as a temporal and culturally specific set of pure belief without any guise of science, help anyone understand themselves at all? It can only create confirmation bias. In fact, this app seems to be a one-stop shop for all of the discredited pre-scientific superstitions and make-believe...

Hold on, someone can't be both a non-coder and being comfortable enough with code to do code review that is meaningful, i.e. actually debug the code, at least in this context. You can certainly do it in the reverse-engineering context, but that's because most reverse engineering work are black box and you have the file for dynamic analysis already anyway. Here, you don't have a reference copy...

I hope that your terms were not written by an actual attorney, because boy does it make no sense when applied. I have a lot of unique fieldwork (in the vein of James C. Scott, et al) about the governance, economy, and challenges faced by splinter de facto independent nation-state-level entities in Myanmar, like the Wa and Shan states. But like any responsible person should, I read your ToS and...

Hey there. Full disclosure: I've been diagonosed with ADHD repeatedly (when I'm overseas it's a bit hard to get medicated when doctors don't speak the same language). And the effects of the medication I take versus what happens when I'm unable to obtain the medication - a very common problem in the US thanks to rampant DEA agents acting like doctors under the color or law and limiting...

The subscription model for alternatives like justwatch or reelgood are, afaik due to the fact that they license the official data and aggregate them (and also, have native apps for Apple TV and Android and the web and even Tizen if anyone still uses it). They have free tiers, and Trakt, Plex, and Kodi are all to varying degrees on the same mixed model. Mostly, the odd thing about this app is...

Hey, even though you guys are clearly still pretty early in terms of adding features I signed up for a paid sub anyway since I think there's a fair bit of potential here, mostly in the gap between the tools that are focused on simplicity so much that you can't even add much of your own code and a full featured IDE. Not that I think you should aim to make it only for that beginner+ market, but...

In all fairness, since alcohol withdrawals have physical symptoms, thanks to the GABAgeric nature of ethanol and the voluminous scientific research on what withdrawal may cause, including seizures and a host of, generously speaking, terrible effects not dissimilar to benzodiazepine withdrawal, it would surely be a good idea to at least have some sort of disclaimer in the case where someone...

I am probably in the minority at this point but... for the small percentage of us who hunt products that for whatever reason are very useful or cool that we didn't make ourselves, the platform feels more and more created not for discovery but for self-promotion almost exclusively. Self-promotion isn't a bad thing, since if you can't promote your own product it says a lot about the readiness of...

It just occurred to me that somehow this site was never hunted even though it has been around for a bit and it's likely that in some manner, by virtue of reading news sites, you've even unknowingly seen what the site has to offer, or at least a slice of it. Whenever there's a lawsuit, or an arrest, or a court decision of note, journalists frequently directly link to PDFs hosted by the site. And...

That's interesting, for reals. I'm gonna have to dust off my jailbroken iPhone 8 that's still on iOS 13 and load it up hoping it would run. I am curious about a few things that is probably in the app somewhere but perhaps belong in the FAQ section: a) To determine how much you won, you need odds, obviously. There are many sportsbooks and the most prominent ones don't simply copy from other...

I've tried quite hard to meet and hang out with some ghosts. My college was purportedly haunted af and I tried my best to jam myself into nooks and crannies late at night and managed to see jack squat. Although, it's also possible that I saw a ghost but did not realize it, as popular depictions of ghosts in mainstream western society is pretty different from the conceptualization I was raised...

I don't uh, understand what segment of the EVM-chain user demographic your product targets, since there are multiple companies that offer RPC access to more chains at the same starting price of zero (and sometimes, the only plan available is the free plan) like infura, quiknode, nownode, chainstack, alchemy, zmok.io (which surely wins an award for trying to upsell frontrunning openly without...

First things first, to be clear, my previous, "I-went-to-school-for-this" office job was practicing law, first criminal defense and then immigration defense. My side hustle, at first at least, was betting on sports. Basically, immigration defense became a total kafkaesque joke when the government stopped following their own rules that they themselves made and interpreted. I had a lot of...

How would this product handle the situation that certainly isn't their making but nevertheless is a rather significant problem in that our broken immigration laws have effectively created a second class citizenship status for millions who grew up just as you and I only to discover at 16 that they're not able to get any sort of government-issued identification that is accepted everywhere? They...

I favor open source projects, without particular allegiance in terms of licensing (for other people's work, that is. All my code I place in the public domain where possible). This is both for transparency and a proxy for potential for quick turnaround in bug fixes and improvements. It's hard to beat the ability to find a bug, open an issue, fork, fix, and open a pull request within a few hours....

I'm 100% i nthe minority these days but I don't watch any video reviews, at all, unless the video review exists because features can only be demonstrated via video. Part of it is because my ADHD makes it hard to focus at a time when tolerance to my prescribed medication makes it almost worthless, and I've always been a fast reader (raised bilingual, early reader, and I'm almost always reading...

This doesn't bode well but um, you've confused the gas cost involved in any ethereum transaction and the fee charged by Uniswap on trades, it seems. Are you proposing that your product will give a rebate to the Uniswap fee to users, and only pay the gas, which I assume through meta-transactions. However, there's the other matter that involves, if you use a MEV-based solution, the "bribe" sent...

At the very least your Oauth2 implementation seems broken. It both displays a "login successful" and "login failed" message simultaneously. A registration check shows that my email was registered, but the recovery process never sends out a recovery link. Also, it's somewhat confusing as to what exactly I'm paying for. "Recharge $26 / month to get 6 hours." Does that mean six hours a month? Six...
