Is Product Hunt still worth launching on?

I have seen a lot of people step back from platforms like LinkedIn after watching established accounts get randomly restricted without clear explanations. It makes you realize how risky is it to rely heavily on a platform that can pull the rug on your reach out of nowhere.

That situation made me rethink product Hunt. it used to be the go-to place for real feedback from early adopters. lately, though, it feels dominated by upvote groups, artificial praise, and makers trading favors. It's hard to tell if a top spot actually brings real users anymore or just temporary noise.

For anyone launching recently, where do you stand? Is Product Hunt still delivering real traction, or has it become too noisy to be worth the effort?

How do we know if all our efforts are just in vain?

I ve been scrolling through the platform today, seeing dozens of launches, upvotes, and celebrating teams. It s inspiring. But it also made me think about the personal sacrifices behind these numbers. Behind every "Successful Launch" post, the sleepless nights, impacted personal lives, and that anxious feeling that your self-worth is entirely tied to your metrics.
How do we know if all our efforts will truly pay off?
How do we actually distinguish between genuine persistence and just over-committing to an unviable idea?

Creative feedback is a PROBLEM! How are people handling it?

I run multi-client creative work (video, ad scripts, photography) and feedback always ends up scattered across WhatsApp, email, and Figma comments. Half the time nobody's sure which version actually got approved.
Curious how others handle this, especially freelancers and small agencies juggling several clients at once.
Is your bottleneck getting clear feedback, keeping versions straight, or something else entirely?
