I have seen a similar idea of $5 for 5 mins on twitter few months back, the problem is the limitation of the idea and you could make a better designs so users can get few visits on their provided link

2 weeks is a good period of time to prepare I guess specially now there are content/checklist available on the internet so just need to plan those activities over a period of time. Personally I break down the launch in 2 parts (soft launch and full launch). In soft launch, my focus is to building something that I can share with my friend or some beta users to get early feedback bcz I wont know what is not clear or not working until I show it to people.
