zCAD. AI is an AI-native platform for generating parametric 3D models, built for designers, makers and engineers. Describe a part or assembly in plain language, and zCAD. AI generates an editable, dimension-driven 3D model built on real CAD geometry, not a static mesh. • Complete assemblies from a single prompt, with mates between parts • Refine in plain language, or edit dimensions in a browser-based CAD editor • Export to STEP for use in any CAD tool

zCAD. AI is an AI-powered tool that generates parametric 3D models from text/image prompts. Here are a few part and assembly names you can use as prompts on trying:
Mecanum Wheel
Planetary Gearbox
Universal Joint
Differential Gear
Three-Jaw Self-Centering Chuck
Geneva Mechanism

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m the first human support agent at zcad.ai, and I love what we’re building.
People have been talking about AI for Engineering for years, but real industrial workflows demand precision, reliability, and rigorous standards. Our ambition is to build the world’s best AI-powered 3D modeling and engineering solution—one that meets the demands of real engineering work.
I’m here to answer your questions, hear your feedback, and help you get started. What would you like to build with zcad.ai?
congrats on the launch team! all the best
@german_merlo1 ❤️😘
This so much makes me want to build physical things
Most AI 3D tools make visuals; this one seems built for downstream engineering workflows. Curious about its export compatibility with STEP and native CAD formats
@carlvert Indeed it supports STEP and it can import from 40+ other formats!!
keeping dimensions and mates editable is the part that makes this useful beyond a nice render
step export on the free plan also means u can check the fit in the cad tool u already use
The focus on actual usable parts instead of just nice-looking 3D models is pretty interesting. Curious how well it handles more complex designs and real-world constraints.
