Three months ago, I had no technical background. Today, after building with Xano, I feel like I’m becoming a no-code backend developer.
What I enjoy most about Xano is the way it helps you think in logic. By building APIs through the Function Stack, I’ve been able to understand backend concepts that previously felt completely out of reach: database structure, authentication, conditional logic, API responses, and how different parts of an application communicate with each other.
Xano has made backend development feel accessible without making it feel superficial. It still requires thinking carefully, understanding logic, and building things properly, but the platform gives non-technical founders like me a real way to learn by doing.
I genuinely enjoy building with Xano. It has helped me move from “I have an idea” to actually understanding how to structure and build the backend of a SaaS product.
Pros:
Makes backend development accessible to non-technical founders
Function Stack is a great way to learn logic visually
Powerful enough to build real SaaS products
Helps you understand APIs, databases, and backend workflows by actually building
