Reviewers mostly see Appwrite as a practical way to avoid stitching together separate backend tools: they repeatedly praise how quickly it handles auth, databases, storage, functions, realtime features, hosting, and self-hosting, with strong docs and a helpful community. Several say it works especially well for Flutter, static sites, and small full-stack apps.
