Hey everyone! I’ve always had trouble tracking transactions because it’s very annoying to add them manually, one by one, choose categories, manage currencies, and so on. So, I decided to build an app for myself where I can simply log my spending, and it will automatically convert the currency, assign the correct category, and write the description. While building it, I discovered a dozen recurring subscriptions I had forgotten about, so I added a feature track and notify me two days before the transaction happens and to automatically manage them when they occur. The funniest thing is that the entire app was written by AI. When I started, I had zero knowledge of frontend development, so I began an experiment: would it be possible to create it using AI? If you’re reading this now, then the experiment was successful. I didn’t intend to make it a cloud-based app for others, but I made the entire code open-source so anyone can deploy it and maybe even create a startup with it! (If you do, let me know, haha).
