The idea for Waitcenter arose from the lack of such a solution in my family's company. Customers call, message, and arrive at the site asking, "Is it ready yet?" Knowing that the best CX offers a proactive solution in this regard - a real-time status page that can be checked at any time without contact - I decided to build it and offer it to every company.
