Wow! "Duolingo for singing!". The design looks super slick.
Android being my primary device, can't wait to get my hands on an Android version. What are your plans with it?
@jaipandya Hi Jai, thanks! Hope to get the Android version out soon. Other than that, we're working on adding real voice samples, different genres and exercises for practice and more personalisation.

Looks amazing! Can't wait for the Android version. Is there any differentiation as to the type of singing that you can train for (such as jazz vocal exercises, yodel, etc.)? Would be cool if you could choose that to.
@alina_karnaukh Thanks Alina! You can signup to be notified when Vanido will be available for Android from our website: https://vanido.io
Yes! We are working with vocal coaches to add exercises for each singing style.

I would love to reach the level that Gwen Stephani is going to turn her chair around and ask me to be on her team.
Can this app take me from paint peeling screeching to "The Voice" Superstar🏅?
@dredurr Hey! Wouldn't that be the day for both of us! Currently it can take you to a point where you feel confident about your singing voice, but we might just turn you into a superstar with future updates.
Thanks for hunting us, Emmanuel!
Hi Product Hunters,
I am Varsha, co-founder and product designer @VanidoApp. Excited to share the result of my first foray into product design! @singhimu and I have been working tirelessly as a team of two for little over a year now. We’re really looking forward to hearing your thoughts on Vanido.
Vanido is an education app that delivers daily singing sessions to train your voice and ear. Each session is personalised according to your vocal range and past performance. You can track your real time pitch, review recordings and evaluate your progress. The gamified and delightful user experience keeps you engaged. As you progress and earn XP, you can level up, unlock new exercises and set reminders which help you stay disciplined.
Our vision is to make Vanido truly a vocal coach in your pocket.
Happy to answer any questions you may have! Also looking forward to your feedback.

@varshashok this is fantastic. I love the pitch tracking.
@peter_enestrom Thanks Peter! Feedback is really critical for singing better and it is at the core of every experience in Vanido. You can also listen to your own voice as you practice to self-evaluate your tone and build resonance. After completing an exercise, you are scored based on your performance and then you can review your recordings too.
This app shows a lot of promise... a great concept for voice training, and a great design as well!
Personally, I was a bit thrown off by having to wear headphones to practice. As a trained singer, I found it very difficult to hear the details of my own performance the way I normally can when doing exercises at the piano. Using the app with headphones on one ear and off the other helped a bit, but I would love the option to practice without headphones if a solution for tracking the pitch of the voice and ignoring the pitch of the reference piano can be found. Meanwhile, it would be helpful to have a setting to adjust the level and/or panning of the voice versus the piano when listening in headphones. Also perhaps an option for a slight bit of reverb on the vocal?
Nevertheless, I’m looking forward to using Vanido as a daily exercise!
Thanks @maxavery, really useful feedback. If it helps, you can disable listening to your own voice during practice from the Settings (from your Profile). We would like to ideally implement a solution where we can ignore the pitch of the reference piano as well - to imitate the classroom experience. Thank you for your other suggestions. Great to have you aboard. :)

Wow, it looks very slick!
@varshashok, is Vanido for beginners? What are your thoughts about more experienced people using it to daily keep in shape?
@gorkamolero Thanks Gorka! Vanido is primarily built for beginners. We do that by giving them as much feedback as possible. More experienced people can also find value in the app in terms of how the sessions are structured for regular practice and the variety of available exercises. We have enhancements planned for beginners to stay engaged, and for experienced learners to get more info on their progress.

Love the User Experience design on this one (and the overall app concept as well)! Your name is also quite peculiar - how did you guys come up with "Vanido"?
