Unbuilt Lab is Launching today - Our Story

Hey there. Just wanted to share the motive behind Unbuilt Lab. Every time I had an idea for a SaaS or app, the same thing happened. I'd spend a couple of days digging through forums, hosting posts for feedback, reviews and search results trying to work out whether anyone actually wanted my Idea or not. By the end I usually had a hunch, not an answer, without enough proof of Qualitative and/or Quantitative assessment, and more often than not, I'd built nothing.

So I built the thing I kept wishing existed.

Unbuilt Lab does that digging for you. It reads what people are genuinely complaining about across 12 18 public sources, isolates the real pain point underneath the noise, and scores it on both qualitative and quantitative measures. What comes back is an Idea Report backed by six dimensions evidence you can point at, not a gut feeling.

From startup idea to a working app in an afternoon

I went looking for a SaaS idea in Jan '26 worth building and kept hitting the same wall - not building from an Idea, but validating an Idea that has POTENTIAL.
Every idea meant days of reading reviews, checking whether search interest was actually rising, and trying to tell a real complaint from idle chat. I'd usually skip it, build anyway, and find out three weeks later that nobody wanted the thing.
So I automated that research for myself. Then I realized the research was only half the problem, and kept going until the output was a working app.
This experience ended up with:

Find New Idea - scored, evidence-backed opportunities pulled from public signal, not brainstormed
Validate User's Idea - bring your own idea and get it scored against the same evidence
Signal Radar - what already exists in a niche, what users complain about, and where the gap sits
Industry Atlas - a decision-grade map of an industry: buyers, regulation, pricing, incumbents, whitespace
Then the Blueprint Pack, the most important deliverable of this process is a set of seven documents, that is,
Market & Opportunity Report - the evidence, the competitors, and whether the timing is right
Opportunity Brief - risks, comparable, market sizing, and five customer-discovery experiments to run
PRD - the sharpest version of the MVP, and an explicit list of what NOT to build in v1
Technical Architecture - stack, data model, API surface, integrations
Go-To-Market & Growth - channels, positioning, pricing, first-100-users motion
Execution Roadmap - week-by-week delivery plan with dependencies and risks
AI Build Prompt - three staged prompts (development, hardening, verification) you paste straight into a coding agent

That last one is why the whole thing exists. Three prompts, a couple of hours, and you have a decent product running, not a demo, something hardened and verified.
The Idea validation, documentation, and the AI Prompts leaves you plenty of room to sharpen the product, and your time free for the part that actually decides whether it works: getting customers.
After all, Distribution is the real part where you are paid for your efforts.
