Really interesting approach to portable AI memory. How does Unabyss handle conflicting or outdated information when different connected apps contain different versions of the same context? Can users review, correct, or delete a memory before it is shared across Claude and their other AI tools?

@j_mehta1 conflicts are resolved both automatically and by you when interacting with our context chat or in your favorite agent like Claude or Hermes.
Cross-app shared memory is one of those things that sounds simple and is deceptively hard once you get into consistency and staleness — how are you handling conflicting updates when two apps touch the same memory at roughly the same time? That's been a recurring headache in anything we've built that needs state to persist across separate tools.

@abhineetarora we have a conflict resolution engine that handles all edge cases. It compares all of the similar memories and updates. If there is any misalignment, our retrieval agent will notify you about this and will give you an option to choose/fix or update the memory. I hope this answers your question :).
@dominik_bartosik That's a smart approach — surfacing the conflict to the user rather than silently picking a winner is the right call, especially early on when trust in the system matters most. Curious whether that retrieval-agent notification happens in real time or in a batch/background pass — real-time feels like it'd add latency, but batching risks the user acting on stale data in the meantime. Nice launch, by the way :)
How do you ensure that Claude & ChatGPT have the same memory? And does it work for OpenClaw too?

Everything happens via our "store" tool in memory. You can save every conversation to Unabyss - just call it manually (e.g. "save it to Unabyss") or adjust your e.g. Claude preferences so that every chat is saved to your memory.
Some users choose the 1st option, some the latter - depending on how much information they want to transfer to Unabyss.
And yes, it works for OpenClaw too! In general, it works with every AI tool that has MCP :)

@amanda_baldwin1 when you are onboarding a new agent to Unabyss, there is a short setup/onboring flow that allows you to pick what you want to save. Based on that, you get global instructions that you can paste in your preferences - this way, context always flows between agents effortlessly.

How easy is it to clean up or remove memories if something gets saved by mistake?

if something gets saved by mistake, you can ask Unabyss to edit/remove it wherever you use it (Claude, GPT, Cursor, or in Unabyss itself :))
and you want to know what Unabyss knows about specific topic - you can talk it through. And (on Monday) we'll release Context View, where you'll see every information that Unabyss has!

@henry_habib super easy, there are 2 main ways in which you can do it: talk to our context agent in the app or do the same in your Claude, ChatGPT, or Hermes. Once you adjust it, it will stay fixed in your context.

the onboarding flow for picking which apps to sync feels really thoughtful, especially how you can preview exactly what each AI will see before sharing. nice touch.

Finally something that stops me from copy pasting the same context into every new chat. Hooked it up to my notes and Slack, took maybe five minutes, and Claude already knew my project setup without me spelling it out again.
