One quick tip: add a trailer episode.

A trailer helps hook a listener's interest, allowing them to preview your content without committing to a full 30-40-minute episode.
Also, most podcast listening apps feature the trailer episode prominently in their UI with a special CTA. You'll miss the opportunity if you don't have a trailer episode in your feed.
I would recommend publishing a trailer episode and backdating it to November 1, 2023. This will order it before your first episode. You don't have to give it an episode number. Just mark the "Episode type" as "Trailer" before you backdate it and click publish.
@mijustin Thanks Justin. Transistor has been great so far. QQ: Can an episode be a normal episode and trailer? i.e. I would like to make our first episode on competitor risk the trailer episode. Not seeing a way to duplicate the episode. So wondering if it's possible for this to be both?
@dru_riley you have to either mark it as "Full", "Bonus", or "Trailer."
It would be fine to mark it as a trailer, but it might confuse some listeners.
(You could always mark it as a trailer for now, and change it later)

It's rare you seem someone execute on the level that Dru does on a regular basis. He doesn't just throw himself into things unless he knows the quality is going to be elite. This is exactly the case with the Trends podcast. The newsletter - immense. The podcast, a worthy additional format. Great work, Dru!
