Hey Product Hunt! Founder of Told here. Today, I’m excited to launch Told, a platform that helps you collect user insights with a beautiful popup survey. Told is a pivot from a previous product. Indeed, we used to be “the app store of design thinking” turned into a user research tool. Let me tell you the story… More than 4 years ago, we launched a product called évolt. The idea was to be the “app store of design thinking” to help teams embrace the design thinking methodology inside their project and organizations. We sold the platform to big enterprises. However, we quickly realized that people could not use the product independently. After hours of chat and analysis, we discovered two things. First, you can’t put people on track with just tools. Before using the product, they must deeply understand the method and state of mind. Secondly, we discovered that people didn’t have enough user data to make a good persona, a user journey, etc. It was a revelation for us, and it changed our perspective. Our mission has become clear to us. We needed to help companies connect to their users to evolve and create better products. Our ambition should be to help organizations listen to their users and get closer to them. That’s why we killed our first product and focused on this new mission. Told was born. We want to help you connect with your users and « Reveal the untold.»

@neelptl2602 Thank you for your kind words. As designers, we think that everyone deserves a good experience. We focus on small features and try to execute them well. Slowly but with quality.

@jscanzi We have walked past the time when functionality was the usecase. Truly said, everyone deserves a good experience. I am going to quote that :))

Congrats on the launch!Nice product! I think the No-code tool for app widgets is very useful. Is it possible to analyze and visualize the data gathered with this app?
Jonathan Scanzi
@naoto_shibata_morph Thank you for your feedback! Yes of course you get beautiful charts to analyze the datas and you can also apply filters if you want to play with datas without going on excel.

In-product surveys have always been a trade-off between customization, functionality, and cost. A flexible tool like this is likely to be well-received in various customer success scenarios.
