Hey everyone,
I'm excited to introduce Telemetry, a tool I've been dreaming of for a long time. Telemetry offers:
1) A dead-simple way to log data from any codebase.
2) A sleek UI for exploring your data.
3) The ability to share your work with colleagues.
4) An AI assistant to help you make the best use of your data.
5) Easy export of your analysis as files or API calls.
While the concept is simple, building it was quite complex and took over six months. The core data infrastructure is built in Rust, ensuring the system is highly performant and fast.
I'd love for you to give Telemetry a try and share your feedback. As a special launch day offer, use the code PH at checkout to get 50% off the business plan.
Thank you!

When I got access to Telemetry, I was able to start tracking events from my products that I'd been putting off, because it was suddenly extremely easy to do so. Really love the simplicity of using it.
Hey JR! This sounds amazing! 🎉 Love how user-friendly you've made it. The AI assistant is a cool touch – can't wait to see how that helps with analyses. Six months of hard work really shows in this. Excited to check out Telemetry and give it a spin, especially with that sweet discount! Keep rocking it!
Congratulations on the launch of Telemetry, JR! 🎉
How do you ensure that the API is well-documented and provides flexibility for users to integrate Telemetry with their existing workflows?
@zara_bottom Thank you Sahiiii! One of the big things I focused on is limiting API surface area with a bias towards simplicity. Telemetry really only has two API surfaces - logging and querying. Both are super simple. Logging takes in a JSON blob. Query takes in a SQL. That's it!
Hey JR,
Telemetry seems like a powerful tool for data analysis. I'm wondering:
- How does Telemetry handle data privacy and security, especially for sensitive information?
- Can users create custom dashboards or visualizations within the platform?
- What kind of integration options are available for connecting Telemetry with other tools in a developer's stack?
Congrats on the launch!
@kyrylosilin Thank you Kyryo. Regarding your questions:
Data Privacy and Security: Telemetry places a high priority on data privacy and security. We encrypt all data in transport and store it in R2 to ensure its safety. For those looking for more control over their security and storage, our enterprise plan supports custom S3 backends, allowing you to manage your data as you see fit.
Custom Dashboards and Visualizations: Yes, users can create custom dashboards and visualizations within the platform. Currently, we support bar charts, line charts, and scatter plots, with plans to add more types in the future. Additionally, we provide the option to export data as API calls, giving you the flexibility to customize the graphs according to your needs.
Integration Options: Telemetry offers several integration options to seamlessly connect with other tools in a developer's stack. We have native SDKs for popular languages like JavaScript, and a JSON REST API, enabling integration with various languages and platforms.
