Metabase has become indispensable to our product workflow at Slytrunk. It is powerful, flexible and reliable, and I would recommend it to any founder without the tens of thousands to spend on Periscope or Domo. It requires some setup, and there is a learning curve, but it's IMO a great investment of time. One thing that could be improved is more product manager focused documentation with cookbooks for common queries, such as those commonly rolled out for Google Analytics (BigQuery).

Simple and straight to the point. Metabase does the simple very well yet allowing complex settings for heavy users.

The Open source version is great for the Startups and mid size companies. Its easy to setup and maintain and work great with Cloud Data warehouses like Snowflake. UI is also very simple and easy to use.

Extremely intuitive and easy to use, with the ability to build on top of queries that you have created before.

wow! pretty awesome product! there once was a product called redash... but it was super clunky. Open source BI but clunky. I just installed metabase locally, plugged into my BigQuery and made some dashboards. Really neat! nice touch to the front-end too. makes you actually proud to show your dashboards!

Critical business intelligence software that our ops team uses daily to easily ask our database questions & get answers! Today is a great day to be a Metabase fan :)
